Meet Adam

Adam Jennings is a proud Bangerang & Wiradjuri man from the NSW Riverina, and the current National Operations Manager of Maxima Group’s Indigenous Employment Programs.

Growing up in Ballarat in Victoria, Adam completed secondary school in Ballarat in 2003 and commenced a Bachelor of Applied Science (Health Promotion) the following year through Deakin University’s Institute of Koorie Education. Graduating in 2008, and spending the subsequent 8 months backpacking overseas,

Adam has since dedicated his professional career to contributing to Closing the Gap initiatives through employment in the Education and Employment sectors. With a firm grasp on the impact of social determinants of health on quality of life and mortality levels, and as an issue close to the heart, contributing to Closing the Gap is a genuine passion of Adam’s.

He truly believes that an ideal world would see such initiatives cease to exist as there would be true equality between Australia’s Indigenous and non-Indigenous peoples.

Away from the office, Adam is the youngest of 4 siblings to an Aboriginal mother and non-Aboriginal father; married to wife Bec since 2016 and a proud father of Blake, Jaxon, and Zahli. He and Bec are raising their kids in a quiet Adelaide suburb wedged between city and sea.
