Meet Michael Gleadow

Michael founded Seed Foundation Australia in 2016 after he identified a need to support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander youth into further training or employment pathways within health and community services. He is also the CEO of Connect ‘n’ Grow, a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) delivering health and community services training to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander youth in Northern Australia.

His interest in training, employment and change management is a result of both his background in teaching and the successful development of regional programs to assist Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander youth in school engagement. Michael has extensive expertise in working with government departments, educational institutions, health and conservation organisations, and on Indigenous Health Training projects to improve indigenous outcomes.

It was a natural progression that Michael established Seed Foundation Australia to engage the business community in redesigning educational pathways within the health industry. Through experiences in working with a range of cultures in Papua New Guinea, Europe and Australia, Michael has found how working toward common goals can change the fabric of communities.
